Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a Senior Account Relationship Manager (Commercial Islamic) to manage and grow an assigned corporate loan portfolio. You will strengthen existing client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and deliver tailored financial solutions to meet clients’ needs while maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.

You will work closely with clients, internal product teams, and the wider RHB Group to drive growth and cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in corporate banking or commercial banking within an established financial institution.
• Certified Credit Professional or passed Omega’s Credit Skill Assessment (CSA).
• Strong marketing, business development, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Driven, organized, and equipped with strong relationship management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned portfolio of corporate clients, focusing on strong, sustainable relationships.
• Develop and execute business development plans to grow the corporate loan portfolio.
• Identify, initiate and assess new business opportunities and potential corporate clients.
• Deepen client relationships by understanding business needs and providing banking solutions.
• Drive cross-selling across the Bank and RHB Group’s products and services.
• Maintain regular client visits to stay informed of market developments and opportunities.
• Monitor and manage loan portfolio to maintain credit quality.
• Conduct periodic reviews and assess market developments affecting borrowers.
• Collaborate with Client Coverage Team and product partners on account planning and client solutions.
• Act as liaison for cross-selling with internal and external stakeholders.
