Perkasa Tinggi Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Contracts administrator to manage subcontracts, progress claims and variation orders for major projects. You will assist in tendering, procurement, and award comparisons while drafting trade sub-contracts and supply agreements.

Manage subcontracts, progress claims, variation orders, and site cost control for major building and infrastructure projects with an expanding main contractor.
Assist in pre-construction tender preparations, subcontractor procurement, quotation evaluations, and award comparisons.
Prepare, draft, and issue trade sub-contracts, work orders, and supply agreements in accordance with project requirements.
Prepare monthly main contract progress claims to clients/consultants and verify site work progress.
Evaluate, verify, and process subcontractor progress claims and payment certificates.
Assess site variation orders (VOs), take off quantities, and assist in negotiating VOs with consultants and subcontractors.
Carry out joint site measurements, re-measurements, and valuation of completed works alongside site teams.
Assist in tracking material usage, monitoring project budgets, and identifying potential cost overrun or commercial risks.
Assist in compiling documentation for contractual claims, extension of time (EOT), and final account settlements with clients and subcontractors.
Liaise regularly with project managers, site personnel, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial and site issues efficiently.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in contract administration or quantity surveying, with exposure to a main contractor environment preferred.
Good understanding of main contractor operational processes, sub-contracting practices, payment evaluation, and variation order administration.
Strong numerical accuracy, analytical capability, and practical commercial sense.
Proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to thrive under tight project deadlines.
Effective communication skills for interacting with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and standard QS/measurement software (e.g., Glodon, Cubicost, or AutoCAD is an added advantage).
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
