Job summary

FBG Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, prepare variation orders, and secure timely payments for development projects. You will liaise with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy of certifications and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying with 8+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Cubicost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Cubicost software.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with QS Consultant and Architect on payment, variation orders and final certification.
• Prepare and submit main claims and attend site valuations and measurements.
• Coordinate joint measurement sheets and monitor interim certificates and payments.
• Assist in cost control reports, cost analyses and monthly commercial management (MCM) reports.
• Attend client–consultant and technical coordination meetings.
