Job summary

OGC BUILDER SDN.BHD is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to prepare quantity take-offs, estimates and Bills of Quantities, and to monitor project costs and expenditures. You will prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations and manage contracts and variations, liaising with clients, consultants and suppliers.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with 1–2 years of experience, proficient in Excel and familiar with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-off, measurement and Bill of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets and cost plans.
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, quotations and tender submissions.
• Source, compare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor and control project costs and expenditures.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certificates and variation orders (VO).
• Check and verify subcontractor claims and invoices.
• Assist in contract administration and management.
• Monitor variations, extension of time (EOT) and contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
