Job summary

Boon Boon Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on managing costs, budgets, and contractual compliance across projects.

You will prepare detailed estimates and tenders, conduct valuations, and liaise with contractors and clients. Strong English communication and a meticulous eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender docs.
• Manage project budgets and cost controls from inception to completion.
• Provide cost reporting to managers and senior staff.
• Conduct valuations and interim certificates for progress payments.
• Negotiate contract variations and claims with contractors and clients.
• Prepare final accounts and settle disputes regarding project costs.
• Site inspections and measurements to verify work and quality.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for audit and compliance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
