Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is assisting a premier property developer in Kuala Lumpur to hire a Senior Contract Executive. You will support tendering, budgeting, and key commercial decisions on landmark township projects.

Key duties include drafting tender documents, managing schedules, site valuations, payment certificates, and finalising variation orders with external consultants and contractors. Ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying with 5–6 years’ contract management experience and

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 5 to 6 years of contract management experience within property development.
• Knowledge of full project life-cycles and standard construction contracts (e.g., PAM).

Responsibilities

• Tender Management: Draft tender documents, manage the bidding schedule, conduct interviews, and prepare award recommendations.
• Cost & Budget Control: Monitor project cash flow, verify Bills of Quantities (BQ), and conduct cost research to keep projects within budget.
• Claims & Payments: Attend site valuations, review progress claims, and ensure timely issuance of payment certificates.
• VOs & Final Accounts: Assess and verify variation orders (VOs) against drawings and finalize accounts accurately.
• Contract Support: Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to resolve day-to-day commercial issues.
