MTD Group in Malaysia seeks an Executive, Property Development to assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of development projects, ensuring compliance with requirements, quality standards and timelines.
The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field and 2–3 years of property development experience. You will coordinate design development, monitor programs, review submissions, and support cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time delivery.

As a Executive, Property Development, the candidate is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination and implementation of property development projects, including monitoring project progress, construction activities, CCC and Vacant Possession, in compliance with approved requirements, quality standards and project timelines.
Assist to coordinate design development of the appointed consultant team for Development Order, Building Plan (BP), land matters and other approval required for the project developments.
Assist in preparation of the master work program and monitor the project timeline.
Assist to provide technical/project input to other departments/units (Contract, Government Liaison, S&M, Finance, Design) on matters related to the project planning.
Review the completeness of submission, tender and construction drawings and documents.
Assist in preparing and monitoring on the annual Business Plan.
Oversee all construction activities to ensure adherence to the project schedule, budget and required quality standards
Conduct regular site visit to monitor actual work progress at construction sites.
Monitor and control Variation Orders (VO) for all construction contracts
Follow up closely with consultant/contractor on the CCC checklist and application.
Coordinate the handover of completed projects to the Facilities Management (FM) team, including key tagging and joint inspections of internal and external unit conditions (e.g., sanitary fittings, electrical installations).
Compile and maintain all complaint forms systematically, and regularly update the status of repair works carried out by respective subcontractors.
Assist the FM team in supervising and monitoring rectification works during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
Support the FM team in the tendering process for post-construction service contracts such as maintenance, general cleaning, landscaping, grass cutting, and security services.
Collaborate with the FM team to ensure proper documentation and follow-up for the issuance of the Certificate of Making Good Defects (CMGD) for all completed works.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards to avoid legal issues and maintain the integrity of the property

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Town Planning or related field.
2-3 years of relevant property development experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
Knowledge of property development processes, statutory requirements, and project documentation
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
