Job summary

Kimlun Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Executive to join its project team in Malaysia. You will manage contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage to final account, based in Johor.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, at least 5 years of relevant experience with a main contractor, and strong negotiation and communication skills to handle pre- and post-contract activities and

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, contract administration, costing, claims and VO.
• Good negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, resourceful and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre- and post-contract activities for construction projects.
• Prepare tender pricing, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Manage subcontractor claims, progress payments, Variation Orders and Final Accounts.
• Prepare contractual claims and provide advice on commercial matters.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams on contractual issues.
• Prepare commercial reports and other duties assigned by Management.
