Job summary

Virtuoso in Malaysia seeks a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to support post-contract administration, claims and variations on construction projects. You will manage contractual correspondence, maintain records, and coordinate with project teams.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, 3–5 years relevant experience, and strong drafting and communication skills to work with consultants and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience in post-contract quantity surveying or contract administration.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and contractual drafting skills.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and project documentation.
• Well organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and with the project team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage contractual correspondence, notices and project records.
• Review and register all relevant incoming correspondences from project consultants and employer.
• Assist in tracking contractual matters, notices, variations, delays and claims.
• Prepare contractual letters, notices and formal project correspondence.
• Take initiative to gather and organise supporting information for letter preparation.
• Attend commercial and contractual meetings with clients and project consultants, and prepare minutes of meeting.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for contractual correspondence.
• Work closely with Project Controllers, Project Managers, Planners, and site teams
