Job summary

Kimlun Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Contracts Specialist to manage construction contracts from award to completion. You will handle contract admin, claims, variations, EOT and payments, review subcontract agreements, and liaise with clients and consultants on contractual matters.

Ideal candidates hold a QS or Civil Engineering degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction contracts/QS.
• Strong knowledge of claims, variations, EOT, payments and subcontract management.
• Able to negotiate and communicate effectively; solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with industrial/factory projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction contracts from award to completion.
• Handle contract administration, claims, variations, EOT and payment matters.
• Review and manage subcontract agreements and subcontractor claims.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on contractual matters.
• Identify contractual risks and provide advice to management and project teams.
• Lead negotiations and ensure proper contractual documentation and compliance.
