Job summary

Teleflex is seeking a Payroll HR Executive in Kamunting, Malaysia to support accurate monthly payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

The role collaborates with HR and Finance to maintain payroll records, respond to enquiries, and assist with payroll reporting and HR administrative activities. Prior payroll experience in manufacturing is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 years of payroll administration experience.
• Experience processing payroll in a medium to large organization is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Verify payroll inputs including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, overtime, shift allowances, attendance, leave deductions, bonuses, and other payroll transactions.
• Ensure payroll calculations are accurate and compliant with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare final salary payments for resigning employees.
• Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies before payroll processing.
• Prepare and verify statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp Levy).
• Ensure timely submission and payment of all statutory contributions.
• Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records within payroll system.
• Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, statutory deductions, payslips, and salary-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
