Job summary

ACCORD INNOVATIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced COBOL Mainframe Developer to support enterprise banking applications. You will work on IBM Mainframe systems, with strong COBOL, JCL, and VSAM skills, and contribute to production support and releases.

The role requires 5+ years in mainframe development, a relevant degree, and banking/domain cards experience is preferred. IDMS exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Mainframe Development experience.
Strong COBOL and JCL skills with production support experience.
Experience with VSAM is required; IDMS is a plus.
Banking/Cards domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, enhance, and support COBOL-based applications on IBM Mainframe systems.
Analyze BRD and FSD and translate into technical specifications.
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot JCL for batch processing.
Support batch processing and online transaction applications.
Maintain and optimize VSAM and IDMS based applications.
Analyze and resolve production issues within timelines.
Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment and production releases.
Provide ongoing production support and troubleshoot incidents.
