Job summary

Maybank is seeking an IT professional to join the Deposit unit. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and supporting related applications, with emphasis on COBOL, JCL, TSO, IDMS and CICS.

You will analyze impacts of user requests and coordinate with users, vendors and technical staff to meet project goals. You will assist the Unit Head in monitoring SLA performance and tracking issues, while ensuring documentation is current and weekly status reports are prepared.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or 3 years related working experience.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, TSO, IDMS and CICS.
• Knowledge of Assembler, PL/1, Java or SQ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, test and support products related to Deposit unit.
• Perform impact analysis and design on user requests.
• Liaise with users, vendors, consultants and other technical staff to achieve project objectives.
• Assist Unit Head (UH) to monitor system performance (SLA).
• Tracking and monitoring problems reported; resolve issues with staff, users, vendor and SLA parties.
• Attend to users' queries and request for information or assistance.
• Ensure up-to-date system documentation of all applications/products.
• Prepare weekly status reports.
