Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking aSenior COBOL Developer to support COBOL/mainframe applications in a fully on-site role at IOI City, Putrajaya. The candidate will enhance configurations, develop new features, and ensure system stability and performance.

The role requires strong COBOL/mainframe knowledge, JCL, CICS, DB2, and TSO, with a background in finance or insurance preferred. ITIL certs are a plus and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology or related field.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience as COBOL Developer with mainframe knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support COBOL/mainframe applications by enhancing configurations and developing features.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot production issues; identify root causes.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Maintain and improve code quality, including automated tests.
