Job summary

PerkinElmer in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Senior Product Specialist to lead chromatography-related demonstrations and method development for customers. You will work closely with sales, service, and regional teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure successful product adoption.

The role requires 5+ years hands-on chromatography experience, strong presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel domestically and overseas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemistry.
• At least 5 years of experience running applications using Chromatography.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with chromatography products.
• Good analytical skills in researching data and solving problems.
• Good presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work in a team with sales and service.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Deliver solution-oriented demos and develop new methods to meet customer requirements.
• Explain differentiators and provide technical competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with sales throughout the cycle on product knowledge and applications.
• Lead presales demonstrations and prepare marketing materials for customers.
• Provide after-sales training and hands-on instruction on instrumentation.
• Support sales with customer meetings, workshops, and product updates.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and act as communication point with service engineers.
• Run tests on customer samples and assist in closing orders.
