Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional based in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will drive market analysis and develop winning business development strategies to meet sales targets and win new design opportunities.

You will lead the BD process from marketing to quotation, design finalization, prototype and NPI, while fostering strong relationships with customers and the production team. Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in any engineering discipline.
• Min. 5 years' experience in BD/NPI/Engineering Sales support, electronics industry preferred.
• Strong client relationship management and development aptitude.
• Good analytical, presentation & communication skill.
• Self-driven & result-focused with a strategic business & customer-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development across marketing -> quotation -> design finalization -> prototype -> NPI -> quality.
• Monitor market trends & develop market analysis/strategies.
• Plan and strategize current operations against new and future business models.
• Provide leadership and vision in sales; ensure plans & programs are implemented.
• Foster strong relationships between customers and production teams.
• Develop new and maintain existing accounts; provide quotes and product information as requested.
• Participate in new product development and prototype builds.
• Work with Engineering/QA to improve process yield and quality.
• Ensure deliveries of sales KPIs and contribute to forecasting and reports.
• Conduct market research and analysis.
• Fulfill management objectives within the stipulated time.

Perform effective market analysis and develop winning business development strategy Drive sales initiatives and new design win effectively to meet/exceed sales target. Manage Sales Performance and Customer Satisfaction indicator with effective trigger of action plan for timely gap closure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the full spectrum of business development functions.
• Lead Business Development process from marketing->quotation ->design finalization->prototype->NPI->quality
• To monitor market trend & develop market analysis/strategies, discovering and exploring new business opportunities.
• Plan and strategize current business operation against new and future business model.
• Responsible for providing leadership and vision in the sales functions and ensuring that all plans and programs are effectively implemented.
• Foster strong working relationship between the customers and the production team.
• Develop new and maintain existing relationships to secure major accounts, providing quotes to clients as well as product information as requested.
• Participate in new product development and prototype build.
• Work with Engineering/QA to continuously improve process yield and quality level.
• Ensure deliveries of sales KPI and play an active role in sales forecasting & reports.
• Conduct market research and analysis.
• Fulfil the Management Objectives assigned to you within the stipulated time.
• To undertake any other business-related assignments as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS
