INFOPRO Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Banking Consultant (Banking AI Innovation) to engage with banking clients, understand their needs, and recommend AI-enhanced technology solutions that address real pain points. You will drive business development, support product demonstrations, and guide implementations with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes technology adoption, stakeholder management, and effective communication to secure new customers and ensure successful deployments

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong business development or banking operations and systems implementation experience.
• Technology-savvy with ability to adopt software and digital tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective and existing banking clients to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Apply banking knowledge to recommend suitable solutions and explain how our products address client pain points.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and engagement with decision-makers.
• Support solution presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, and commercial discussions to help secure new customers.
• Analyse user requirements and banking workflows and translate them into clear functional requirements.
• Participate in product testing and user acceptance testing, using realistic banking scenarios to identify gaps and verify that solutions meet business needs.
• Work with product, technical, and project teams to resolve functional issues and support successful implementation.
• Conduct user training, prepare functional documentation, and provide guidance to help clients use our solutions effectively.
• Take ownership of agreed deliverables and performance targets relevant to your responsibilities, including business growth, product quality, implementation outcomes, and customer satisfaction.

About you

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with a sound understanding of banking products, operations, processes, or client needs

Relevant strengths in business development and customer acquisition, or banking operations and systems implementation

Technology savvy, comfortable learning software applications and digital tools, and interested in how technology can improve banking services

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client challenges into practical business and system requirements

Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging banking clients and collaborating with technical teams

Proactive, resourceful, and accountable, with the ability to work independently and follow through on agreed outcomes

For candidates with a commercial background, a demonstrated sales hunter mindset—actively sourcing prospects, opening new accounts, building a pipeline, and converting opportunities into business

For candidates with an operations or systems background, practical knowledge of trade finance and remittances, together with experience in UAT, functional testing, process improvement, or system implementation

Experience with banking software, fintech solutions, CRM systems, or digital prospecting tools will be an advantage

Willingness to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support during scheduled go-lives, where relevant to the assigned responsibilities
