UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced delivery-led IT professional to own end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements to production support, focused on Payments, Real-Time Data Services and Open Banking APIs.

You will partner with domain architects and security teams to ensure compliant, scalable solutions and lead delivery across multiple application teams, balancing technical excellence with operability and risk management.

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities

You will be involved extensively and be responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle and support for all work transitioned from Group (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes). This includes anchoring key engagements with various stakeholders, analysis and design to development, implementation, release management, testing and support for the domain area of Payments, Real-Time Data Services and Open Banking APIs (PRO).

With a primary role in delivery management, you will be responsible for the project technical delivery and quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner closely with the group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.

• Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet Project’s requirements within allocated budget
• Manage and coordinate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution
• Monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery
• Provide status update related to technical delivery
• Report to Program and/or Project Manager for the strategic programs
• Partner with Functional Business Analysts, System Analysts & subject matter experts to understand and implement functional and technical requirements
• Provide systems input to specification phase (e.g., effort estimates, high-level delivery plan) based on impact assessment
• Partner with Domain Architects, Development Manager, and Security Architect to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
• Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of SIT, UAT testing, performance/load testing and application security testing with quality results
• Work with IT Security team to facilitate completion of penetration testing and remediation of findings in accordance with Mitigation Plan
• Prepare technical implementation plan across application teams
• Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure production cutover and adequate post-implementation support

Job Requirements

• The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in implementing and operating large-scale and complex mission-critical solutions:
• Strong communication skills to communicate with various stakeholders (both working level and management) across business and technical teams.
• Strong experience in driving technical delivery team from product vision to technical solution design and implementation with a keen eye on operability of the application system(s).
• Possesses service management and production support experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying potential solutions with the team.
• Experience in application development and operations of complex ETL flows.
• Mandatory: Informatica PowerCenter.
• Mandatory: Experience with database management systems (preferably Oracle and MariaDB)
• Experience in security management across the layers.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps practices will be an added advantage.
