Job summary

Beckhoff Automation GmbH is expanding its team in Malaysia to grow the Factory Automation market with a focus on PLC and PC technology. You will pursue new business opportunities, organize POC sessions, and collaborate with service teams to tailor solutions for customers.

The role requires a degree in automation or engineering and up to 3 years of experience, with a proactive, team-driven mindset to meet sales targets and participate in local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in industrial automation, engineering or comparable technical qualification.
• 0-3 years of experience in industrial automation system integration.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong background in automation solutions with PLC and PC technology.
• Good knowledge of the Malaysia automation market, especially PLC and HMI.
• Good sales and marketing skills with industrial B2B customers.
• Prior experience in multinational corporations is an advantage.
• Proactive, self-starter and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Be a hunter to grow the Factory Automation (FA) market.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities in FA industries – identify and convert new Machine Builders, End Users / Manufacturers.
• Organize proof of concept (POC) / testing / demo sessions with potential new customers with the assistance of the customer service team/product specialist.
• Work closely with customer service team / product specialists to propose suitable solutions to meet customer’s expectations.
• Liaise with team to develop local marketing strategies to target potential new customers.
• Conduct sales presentations and product/solution demos.
• Assist and organize marketing events such as seminars, exhibitions, and training.
• Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans.
