Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a sales engineering professional to drive regional growth by delivering technical automation solutions to industrial clients in Malaysia. You will expand the client base and secure new business.

You will pitch PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and robotics; visit client sites to assess needs; and collaborate with internal engineers to deliver full customer solutions and quotes that meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
• 1–2 years of sales engineering experience, though driven fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
• Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel within assigned regions.

Responsibilities

• Find new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing clients.
• Pitch technical automation solutions, including PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and robotics.
• Visit client sites across assigned regions to understand their technical needs.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders to achieve targets.
• Work closely with internal technical specialists to deliver full customer solutions.
