Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an experienced application engineer to provide after-sales service for tooling systems in Malaysia. You will work with sales to meet customer needs, develop technical specifications, and document repair procedures.

The role involves coordinating with system integrators for turnkey integration and delivering training on safe operations. The position requires 5–8 years in the field, strong communication, and willingness to travel across Malaysia/ASEAN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 5–8 years in application engineering, service/technical support, or product management in tools/assembly equipment.
• Understanding of Automobile and Industrial OEMs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Malaysia/ASEAN.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sales to provide after-sales service on Blind Tools, Stud welding systems, DC torque tooling.
• Brand Stanley as a solution provider.
• Develop specifications and perform technical analysis to support sales.
• Document jobs with drawings and procedures.
• Coordinate with system integrators for jig/fixtures/PLC integration and turnkey solutions.
• Attend meetings, seminars, and training to stay updated on developments.
