Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Malaysia seeks an experienced Applications Engineer to provide after-sales service on Blind Tools and Stud welding systems, align with sales and projects teams, and develop technical specifications for compelling customer propositions.

You will document jobs with drawings and procedures, support system integrators on Jig/Fixtures/PLC integration, and travel across Malaysia/ASEAN for installations and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in application engineering, service/technical support, or product management in tools/assembly equipment.
• Understanding of automobile and industrial OEMs is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with sales/partners.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Malaysia/ASEAN.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sales to provide after-sales service support for Blind Tools, Stud welding systems, and DC torque tightening tools.
• Coordinate with customer projects/maintenance teams to ensure alignment with Stanley solutions.
• Develop specifications, performance requirements and provide technical analysis to support sales propositions.
• Document jobs with drawings and procedures; maintain detailed repair records.
• Coordinate with Stanley Principals Unit for technical assistance, BOM preparation and 3D modeling.
• Support system integrators for jig/fixtures/PLC integration to deliver turnkey solutions.
