Job summary

Deloitte Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an AP Senior Analyst to manage invoice processing, payments, and related follow-ups within the Finance Support service line. The role supports month-end closing and management reporting, working with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of issues.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in accounting/finance, strong Excel skills, and an excellent command of English.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate within a team.
• Familiarity with Xero accounting software is an added advantage.
• Experience in process improvement is an added advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoice processing, payment requests, and related follow-ups.
• Review vendor/geography statements of account and follow up on outstanding or disputed items.
• Prepare and issue billing documents and expense reports as required.
• Support month-end closing and provide information for management reporting.
• Respond to vendor/PF queries relating to invoices and payment matters.
• Support internal and external audits, process improvements, and other ad hoc projects.
