Job summary

AIA Digital+ Malaysia is seeking a Lead Analyst, Digital Distribution Solution (Business Analyst) in Kuala Lumpur. You will assess business changes, document functional specifications and user stories, and support delivery with relevant parties.

You will lead UI design, write testing plans, and coordinate with IT teams and vendors to enable system delivery. The role requires a university degree in IT or related fields and 3–4 years of BA experience in Agile projects.

• Ability to identify and define requirements via multiple scenarios to assess the real business problems.
• Ability to explain and convey requirements to business, end users and technical teams.

Lead Analyst, Digital Distribution Solution (Business Analyst)

According to the business changes and needs, provide a proper system functional solution by assessing and analyzing those changes, capture and document requirements as functional specification/user stories, support the communication and delivery of these requirements with relevant parties and conduct system briefing and user training while needed.

Produce BRD (business requirement document) for project at small scale, lead user interface (UI) design, write testing plan and conduct testing to ensure system implementation/enhancement in meeting business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assessing, analyzing user requirements and establishing system objectives

Designing the system’s functional solution and providing its delivery cost

Prepare system documentation, e.g. functional specifications, user stories and user manual, etc.

Support communication within business parties and development team

Work with developers to support end user acceptance testing

Work with Project Manager to control and follow-up User requirement change.

Work with business parties to confirm delivery schedule and follow up the implementation of the system.

Conduct system demonstration while needed.

Conduct user training while needed

Coordinate with relevant IT team and third-party vendors/users to design, implement and maintain information systems to enable service delivery

Job Requirements:

University degree or above in IT or related disciplines

Minimum 3-4 years BA working experience in Agile projects

Conceptual awareness of industry/ business domain, relevant IT functional products and applications, etc.

Ability to identify and define requirements via multiple scenarios to assess the real business problems, and subsequently validate with business & end users for any update

Able to understand, explain and effectively convey requirements and business scenarios to business, end users and technical teams

Coaching skill
