South East Asia Nutrition Sdn Bhd (Naked Superfood Co.) is seeking a meticulous Accounts Executive to own the full spectrum of accounting functions and financial documentation. You will report to Management and manage full-set accounts, cash flow reconciliations, tax compliance, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government agencies, ensuring accuracy and strict record-keeping.

This role emphasizes independence, with a 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM schedule, on-site in Malaysia, and benefits

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance (e.g., LCCI, ACCA foundation, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–4 years of full-set accounts experience in SME, manufacturing, trading, or retail/F&B.
• Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Xero) and Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Familiar with Malaysian tax, SST, and e-Invoicing workflow.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Meticulous, highly independent, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute full-set accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and reports.
• Maintain records in compliance with accounting standards and LHDN e-Invoicing.
• Oversee tax invoices, vouchers, claims, AR follow-ups to safeguard cash flow.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government agencies for statutory compliance.
• Support cash flow forecasts, cost controls, and annual audit preparations.
• Maintain structured filing systems for fast document retrieval with confidentiality and audit trail.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting, inventory costing, or admin tasks as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and independent Accounts Executive to manage and execute our full spectrum of accounting functions and financial documentation.

Reporting directly to Management, you will take full ownership of full-set accounts, cash flow reconciliations, tax compliance, and statutory liaisons for South East Asia Nutrition Sdn Bhd (Naked Superfood Co.). You will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, speed, and strict record-keeping without requiring constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Set Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage and execute full-set accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and current LHDN e-Invoicing requirements.
• Oversee payment vouchers, claims, tax invoices, credit notes, and active follow-ups on accounts receivable to safeguard company cash flow.
• Primary liaison with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government agencies (LHDN/SSM) for statutory compliance.
• Support Management with basic cash flow forecasts, cost controls, and annual audit preparations.

3. Accounting Systems & Administration

• Maintain structured physical and digital accounting filing systems for fast document retrieval, strict confidentiality, and easy audit trail.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting, inventory costing, or administrative tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance (e.g., LCCI, ACCA foundation, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of solid experience in handling full-set accounts, ideally in SME, manufacturing, trading, or retail/F&B.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, Xero, or equivalent) and Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with Malaysian tax, SST awareness, and e-Invoicing workflow.
• Language Required: Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Key Traits: Meticulous, highly independent, strong sense of responsibility, and good problem-solving skills.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (5-Day Work Week)
• Saturday & Sunday: Off
