Job summary

Dessert Captain Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. You will support the Finance Department with day-to-day accounting operations using the SQL Accounting System.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and has 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in F&B or multi-outlet retail, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with LHDN e-Invoice requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in F&B or multi-outlet retail.
• Familiarity with LHDN e-Invoice is an advantage.
• LCCI/partial ACCA/CIMA qualification is an added advantage.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting Software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience handling full set of accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) using the SQL Accounting System
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing
• Process outlet sales reconciliation, purchases, and supplier invoices
• Review and process staff claims submitted through the proper channel, in line with Company policy
• Prepare LHDN-compliant e-Invoices and ensure adherence to e-Invoice submission guidelines
• Assist in preparation of management reports, cash flow, and budget monitoring
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and bankers as required
• Ensure statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) in coordination with HR/Payroll
• Support outlet-level Area Outlet Managers on accounting and claims matters
• Assist with ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned by the Finance Manager/Management

Job description

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing the full set of accounts for Dessert Captain Sdn Bhd, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting the Finance Department in day-to-step accounting operations using the SQL Accounting System.

Key responsibilities

Maintain full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) using the SQL Accounting System

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing

Process outlet sales reconciliation, purchases, and supplier invoices

Review and process staff claims submitted through the proper channel, in line with Company policy

Prepare LHDN-compliant e-Invoices and ensure adherence to e-Invoice submission guidelines

About you

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in F&B or multi-outlet retail

Familiarity with LHDN e-Invoice requirements is an advantage

LCCI / partial ACCA / CIMA qualification is an added advantage

Proficient in SQL Accounting Software

Strong command of Microsoft Excel

Experience handling full set of accounts
