Job summary

Fast Flow Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Supervisor to oversee AR, AP and GL functions, ensuring timely month-end closings and accurate financial reporting. You will supervise a team of accounts assistants, manage intercompany activities, and maintain asset registers using Navision ERP.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy, at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a related industry, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy & above.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in accounting, preferably in Construction/Engineering.
• Experience in ERP is preferred a must and Navision is preferred.
• Experience in project costing and WIP revenue recognition is a must.
• Well-versed in English and Chinese reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review work prepared by accounts assistants in accounts receivable, accounts payables and general ledger.
• Ensure timely closing of AP, inventory, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, bank & GL.
• Prepare monthly journals, prepayments, accruals, etc.
• Monthly inter-companies reconciliation.
• In charge of fixed asset register and run depreciation in ERP.
• Monthly balance sheet schedules update and timely bank reconciliation.
• Manage AP, AR, subcontract payment, capex in line with SOPs and cash forecasts.
• Control & timely processing of staff expenses claims in line with policy.
• Coordinate with logistics on inventory cut-off and stock-take; reconcile monthly stock variance.
• Ensure adherence to statutory/regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Liaise with auditors for year-end audit and timely financial statements release.
• Coordinate with tax agents and co secretaries for statutory requirements; SST and corporate tax filings.
• Attend to queries from tax agents and auditors; alert Finance Manager to irregularities.
• Perform any other duties as required by the business.

Job description

Supervise and review the work prepared by accounts assistant in accounts receivable, accounts payables and general ledger.

Ensure timely closing of AP, inventory, inter-co transactions, fixed assets, bank & GL.

Prepare monthly journals, prepayment, accruals etc.

Monthly inter-companies reconciliation.

In charge of fixed asset register and run depreciation in ERP.

Timely bank reconciliation.

Manage AP, AR, subcon payment, capex are in line with SOPs and cash forecasts.

Control & Timely processing of staff expenses claims in line with Policy.

Work closely with logistic on inventory cut-off and coordinate stock-take

Reconciliation of monthly stock-take variance and post stock-take adjustment.

Ensure adherence to relevant Legal, Statutory, Accounting Standards, Tax Regulations, Policies and SOPs.

Liaise with auditors for year-end audit and ensure timely release of financial statements.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents and co secretaries for any statutory requirements.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of SST, Corporate tax filing,

Promptly attend to queries from tax agent and auditors.

Ensure Finance Manager is immediately alerted on any irregularities.

Perform any other duty and responsibility as when and where required by the company according to the dynamic aspects of the business.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accountancy & above

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory role, preferably with some years of work experience in Construction/Engineering Industry

Experience in ERP is preferred a must and preferably in Navision

Experience in project costing and WIP revenue recognition is a must

Well versed and able to read and written in English and Chinese

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
