Job summary

Golden Tougen (Malaysia) is seeking a finance professional to lead the preparation and analysis of full-set management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will generate KPI-driven management reports to support performance monitoring and strategic planning.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ensuring robust accounting operations with strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 3–5 years in admin/renovation/facilities/project coordination is a plus.
• Familiar with accounting software and financial reporting.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency emphasized).
• Good understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; proficient in MS Office.
• Able to work independently, responsible, and willing to learn.

Job description

Lead the preparation and analysis of full-set management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Generate periodic management reports, including KPI analysis, to support business performance monitoring and strategic planning.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with operational and financial targets.

Cost Control & Business Performance

Monitor operational costs and analyze variances to improve mill efficiency and profitability.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for cost optimization and performance improvement.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.

Ensure timely payments to suppliers, statutory bodies, and other stakeholders.

Support corporate finance and treasury activities, including banking relationships, fund transfers, and financing arrangements.

Accounting Operations & Controls

Oversee and manage full-spectrum accounting functions.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all accounting records.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls through proper documentation and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures.

Compliance & Statutory Reporting

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and relevant authorities.

Oversee timely submission of statutory filings.

Audit & Governance

Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Substantiate financial transactions through proper documentation and audit trails.

Review and enhance departmental SOPs, policies, and work processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 3-5 years of working experience in administration, renovation, facilities, or project coordination will have an added advantage.

Familiar with accounting software and financial reporting.

Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Good understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Good organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to work independently, responsible, and willing to learn.
