Job summary

United U-LI Corporation is seeking an Accounts Executive to support the finance team with general ledger maintenance, closing processes, and inventory costing. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data, liaising with auditors and bankers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Cost accounting knowledge is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/accounting systems.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; other dialects are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining full general ledgers and daily transaction logs.
• Manage monthly and yearly account closing and financial monitoring.
• Support periodic stock takes and inventory costing.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, lawyers and bankers.
• Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
• Provide back-up support to the finance team as needed.

Job description

Assist in maintaining FULL general ledgers and daily transaction logs

Manage monthly and yearly account closing and financial monitoring

Support periodic stock takes and inventory valuation/costing

Strong attention to details and able to interpret financial data.

Liase with auditors, tax agents, lawyers and bankers

Prepare various documentation/reports for internal/external audits

Provide back up support as and when necessary to the finance team

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Knowledge/experience in Cost Accounting will be added advantage

Minimum 3 year's relevant work experience in Accounting/Finance

Profiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Accounting Systems

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Fluency in other commercial dialects will be added advantage.
