Job summary

Fitness Concept Specialist Chain Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts, assist in audits, and maintain financial records for multiple outlets in Malaysia. The role demands accuracy, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a retail environment.

The candidate should hold an Accounting degree, preferably with 2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Auditing experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related major.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in retail accounting.
• Candidates with experience in auditing firms are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of financial accounts, audit schedules and tax schedules.
• Coordinate and assist in annual audit and tax matters.
• Prepare bank reconciliation and payments to vendors, employees and statutory bodies.
• Update fixed asset register and maintain proper filing system.
• Suggest and implement internal controls to improve operations.
• Monitor unsettled credit card transactions for all outlets.
• Liaise with external parties (merchant banks, auditors, tax agents, company secretary).
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Job description

1. Preparation of full set financial accounts, audit schedules & tax schedules.

2. Coordinate and assist in annual audit and tax related matters.

3. Prepare bank reconciliation.

4. Prepare payment to vendors, merchants, employees & other statutory bodies.

5. Update fixed asset register.

6. Recommend, implement/ improve internal controls in the operations.

7. Monitor all unsettled credit card for all outlets.

8. Liaise with external parties (Eg: Merchant Bankers, Auditors, Tax Agent & Company Secretary).

9. Maintain proper filing system.

11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting, or other relevant Majors.

Preferably 2 years working experience, (in retail preferably)

Candidates with working experience in auditing firm are encouraged to apply.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power point

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong attention to detail and dateline oriented.

Able to work with minimum supervision.
