Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking an Accounts Executive for a multinational automotive manufacturer based in Kulai, Johor. You will handle full-set accounting, ensure MFRS compliance, and prepare monthly to year-end closes with consolidated statements.

You will produce management analyses, manage taxes (Income Tax, SST, WHT, PCB), interact with tax authorities, and assist audits. Mandarin is an asset for liaison with headquarters.

Qualifications

• Handle full-set accounting including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Ensure vouchers and records comply with MFRS and company policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and standalone/consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare regular management reports for accurate financial analysis and insights.
• Accurately calculate and file all statutory taxes (Income Tax, SST, WHT, PCB).
• Manage interactions with tax authorities to ensure full compliance with Malaysian regulations.
• Support oversight of operating costs, analyze variances, and propose improvements.
• Lead or coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Minimum Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-set accounting experience and strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regs, MFRS, and Companies Act.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin communication skills preferred for liaison with HQ.

Job Requirements:

• Handle full-set accounting, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and cash management
• Ensure all accounting vouchers and records comply with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and company policies
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing on time, and prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements
• Prepare regular management reports to provide accurate financial analysis and business insights to management
• Accurately calculate and timely file all statutory taxes, including Income Tax, SST, WHT and PCB
• Manage interactions with tax authorities (IRB/LHDN) to ensure full compliance with Malaysian tax regulations
• Support oversight of operating costs, analyze cost variances, and propose improvements
• Lead or coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors, providing required documentation promptly
• MinimumDegree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of full-set accounting experience and strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, MFRS, and Companies Act
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL Accounting, etc.)
