Job summary

The Makeover Guys Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to support treasury activities and ensure fluid cash flow across the group of companies. You will manage daily liquidity, reconcile transactions, and coordinate with banks on facilities and FX exposure.

The role emphasizes detailed financial control, collaboration with internal teams and bankers, and accurate reporting to help keep projects financially on track. Office-based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant working experience in finance or treasury.
• Solid understanding of cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Interest or background in data entry/accounting/finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and balance liquidity with upcoming payments.
• Reconcile treasury transactions, merchant accounts, and ledgers; prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Plan and execute vendor, staff, and fixed payments for group companies.
• Act as the primary contact for corporate banks; manage account maintenance and signatory updates.
• Assist in applying for new banking facilities and monitor forex exposure.
• Support annual external audits and ad-hoc treasury initiatives.

Job description

The Role.

As the Senior Accounts Executive at The Makeover Guys, you will be assisting with all treasury related matters for The Makeover Guys Group of Companies. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our cash flow remains fluid and our projects stay financially on track.

What You’ll Do.

• 1. Working Capital Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts. Balance day-to-day liquidity with upcoming supplier payments and working capital disbursements
• 2. Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile daily treasury transactions, credit card merchant accounts (used for client deposits), and general ledgers. Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts for management.
• 3. Plan and execute payments for vendors, staff claims, other fixed payments across the Group of companies
• 4. Serve as the point of contact for corporate banks. Handle account maintenance, signatory updates, and the issuance of bank guarantees or performance bonds for large-scale commercial design contracts
• 5. Assist in the application of any new banking facilities in the future
• 6. Assist in monitoring foreign exchange exposure for imported purchases
• 7. Submit WHT filings in compliance with regulatory requirements
• 8. Remit monthly statutory contributions to the relevant authorities
• 9. Remit monthly tax payable and SST payments to the relevant authorities
• 10. Assist with the preparation for external audit
• 11. Perform ad-hoc and other treasury related initiatives

Who You Are.

• 1. Min 3 years of relevant working experience
• 2. Solid understanding in cash flow forecasting
• 3. Interest or background in data entry/accounting/finance
• 4. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills to juggle multiple payment days within the group of companies and excellent communication skills to collaborate with both internal teams and external bankers.
• 5. Fluency in English is a must, Mandarin is a plus!
• 6. Positive attitude paired with a desire for transparency and openness
• 7. Team player with ability to support other team-mates as and when required

Working Arrangement.

Office-based. Work closely with our Group Finance Director and Founding Partner.
