Job summary

Lachér Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to manage full sets of accounts, ensure timely month-end closing, and deliver accurate financial statements and management reports. You will oversee AR/AP, bank reconciliations, SST/e-Invoice compliance, budgeting support, and collaborate with directors to monitor performance and drive process improvements in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office; experience with e-Invoice compliance is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including e-Invoicing, billing, collections, payments, and credit control.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, suppliers, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure compliance with e-Invoice requirements and prepare SST filings.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, identifying variances and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Directors to track financial performance and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents, and prepare audit and tax schedules.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Contribute to process improvements and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Support ad hoc assignments as required.
