Lachér, a Malaysian patisserie and café brand, is seeking an Inventory Executive to oversee stock control across the Central Kitchen and multiple outlets. You will receive, store, and monitor all inventory categories, ensuring items are neatly labelled and auditable while enforcing FIFO and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities include coordinating stock movements, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with drivers and internal teams to optimise replenishment and storage efficiency.
This role involves managing inventory and stock control across multiple locations, including a Central Kitchen and outlets. You will receive, store, and monitor all inventory categories including ingredients, finished products, packaging, and supplies, ensuring items are neatly organised, properly labelled, and systematically arranged for easy retrieval and auditing.

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct scheduled physical stock audits (twice a month for the Central Kitchen, and once a month for all outlets)
Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies or variances
Enforce strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols and shelf-life control to minimise wastage
Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, safety) and optimise space utilisation
Manage, document, and accurately track stock movements between the Central Kitchen and outlets
Coordinate inter-outlet stock allocation to prevent shortages or overstocking
Review monthly outlet stock checks to plan effective replenishment schedules
Work closely with drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of company assets, including equipment loans and transfers between locations.
Notify the relevant departments regarding equipment maintenance schedules based on asset logs.
Review current inventory workflows and proactively propose efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with the relevant departments on inventory planning, forecasting, and optimisation.
Coordinate with all relevant departments on operational requirements.
Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Prepare and submit monthly inventory reports to management.
Support outlet expansion initiatives as the company grows.
2-3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory operations, preferably within the F&B or hospitality industry
Knowledge of food storage standards and hygiene requirements
Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Excel, and experience using inventory management systems or ERP software
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and make informed decisions on stock levels
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high degree of accuracy in record-keeping, data entry, and physical auditing
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, outlet managers, and external vendors
Ability to perform physical stock checks and work comfortably in varied storage environments (including cold rooms)
