Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Malaysia Tebrau is seeking a security officer to support warehouse security operations. You will assist the supervisor during incidents, conduct training, and ensure compliance with security guidelines while maintaining daily logs and CCTV checks.

The role requires a minimum diploma, at least 2 years’ security or logistics experience, and willingness to work on shifts. Familiarity with TAPA FSR audits is preferred, and you must be willing to base in Tebrau, Johor.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or relevant qualification.
• At least 2 years of working experience in warehouse security / logistics environment.
• Hands-on experience with TAPA FSR compliance and audits is required.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operation would be an added advantage.
• Able to work on shift or extended hours if required.
• Must be willing to work in Tebrau, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Assist superior when security incidents occur and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct training for contract security personnel on procedures and guidelines.
• Inspect security gadgets (magnetic alarm, body sensor, panic button) for functionality.
• Read and compile security incident reports and brief Security Executive.
• Prepare daily supervisor reports and CCTV/weekly audit checklists.
• Review CCTV recordings and report suspicious activities.
• Perform any other duties as directed by Security Executive/Assistant Security Manager.
• Liaise with customers, operations teams, vendors, and local authorities on security matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist superior when security incidents occurred and ensure/action on the implementation of agreed corrective actions to close identified gaps.
• Conduct training and educating all contract security personnel to ensure them understand their job scope, proper working procedures and handling of security equipment as published in the Security Manual and other security guidelines.
• Conduct inspection on all security gadgets including magnetic alarm sensor, body sensor and panic button are functioning.
• Read and compile security incident report and brief Security Executive on any imminent threat or breaching of security procedures.
• Prepare daily supervisor report, daily CCTV checklist and weekly audit checklist.
• Reviewing CCTV recording and report on any suspicious activities.
• To perform any other duties as directed by Security Executive and Assistant Security Manager.
• Liaise with customers, operations teams, security vendors, and local authorities on security-related matters
