Job summary

Altum Precision in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia is seeking a security guard to monitor and patrol factory premises, control entry/exit, and ensure safety.

You will operate CCTV and access control, verify IDs, conduct inspections, and respond to emergencies. This role requires physical fitness and willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic report writing skills.
• Prior experience in security.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
• Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol factory premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions
• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with company procedures
• Verify identification, visitor passes, and delivery documents
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities
• Operate security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
• Record daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in the security logbook
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire, theft, accidents, or unauthorized access
• Report any suspicious behavior or security breaches to management immediately
• Assist during emergency evacuation and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Perform bag checks or vehicle inspections when required
• Maintain discipline and enforce company rules and regulations
