Bridge Data Centres in Malaysia is seeking a Security Assistant/Coordinator to support the Security Manager in daily operations and safety across employees, visitors, tenants and assets.
You will supervise the security team, monitor CCTV and access controls, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident responses while ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. Strong leadership and English proficiency are essential.

Assist the Security Manager in managing daily security operations and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, tenants, property and assets.
Supervise and monitor the performance, discipline and conduct of the Security Team and security service providers.
Monitor and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms and related equipment.
Conduct regular security inspections, patrols and risk assessments to identify and address security risks.
Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies, accidents and other critical situations in accordance with established procedures.
Investigate security incidents and prepare accurate reports and relevant documentation.
Ensure compliance with company security policies, procedures, Malaysian laws and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments, tenants, contractors and relevant enforcement agencies on security matters.
Assist in security drills, training, briefings and emergency preparedness activities.
Maintain good relationships with tenants and stakeholders while ensuring a high standard of security and customer service.
Support continuous improvement of security processes, systems and operational standards.
Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Security Manager or Company from time to time.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Good knowledge of Malaysian laws and regulations related to security and safety.
Minimum Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Management or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience in physical security operations, incident management, emergency response and security systems.
Relevant security certifications or practising licences would be an added advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently, handle emergencies and perform under pressure.
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
High level of professionalism, accountability, integrity and attention to detail.
