Agrobank, the East Malaysia Section Head / Senior Account Relationship Manager role, focuses on expanding the corporate banking portfolio and optimizing financing facilities across East Malaysia. You will lead a team to acquire and retain customers, structure financing, and collaborate with Credit Administration and Trade Finance to drive asset and revenue growth.

Responsible in acquiring new customers and growing existing portfolio of corporate segments byoffering product solutions to assist the customer’s business model and ultimately contributes to theBank’s profitability and asset growth.
Responsible in optimizing the utilization of banking facilities towards increasing the growth of corporate’s portfolio as well as conducting credit evaluation for all corporate accounts. Maintaining and managing account relationships with both existing and potential customers.
Responsible for maintaining the asset quality of the financing provided to the customers.
Achieve the organization’s revenue, financing growth, assets quality and deposit growth for Corporate Banking segmentation.
Lead the team to manage a portfolio of customers, customer retention with objective to maximize return to the Bank by providing excellence customer service to the customer.
Lead the team to ensure timely submission of annual reviews, facilities granted are adequately utilized, and good conduct of accounts.
Lead the team to structure the financing proposal which meet the customers expectation without compromising the Bank’s policy and mandated roles.
Arrange and lead the team to provide business matching between the existing customers for business relationship growth.
Support the business initiative in related to the Bank’s mandated roles and Government’s fund.
Lead the team to manage the acquisition and management activity, to ensure that KPIs or deliverables set by the Bank.
Lead the team members in disposing their function towards contributing asset growth and revenue to the Bank.
Work closely and establish a good business relationship with the related other department including Credit Administration Department (Disbursement and Documentation) and Trade Finance Department and relevant branch towards assets and deposit growths.
Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree Level in Business Studies / Financial Management/Accounting /Economics / Banking / Business Management/ Business Administration or any other related discipline from higher learning institution accredited by the Malaysian Government.
Minimum of 10 - 15 years’ experience in business banking/commercial/corporate banking
Good knowledge of the broad range of banking products and credit assessment.
Independent, self-motivated, resourceful and have excellent interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of Banking product.
Good analytical skills in financial accounts and well versed in cash flow analysis.
Good in financing/loan structuring for working capital, project financing and loan syndication/club deal as well as restructuring and rescheduling of impaired accounts.
Good planning and organizing skills.
Result oriented and able to work as a team.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.
