Job summary

Agrobank is seeking a Microfinance Officer to drive branch microfinance targets. You will receive potential clients, assess applications, and complete loan documentation for approval and disbursement. Regular arrears follow-ups and cross-selling of BANCA products are also key duties.

The role involves on-site client meetings across Malaysia and requires proactive outreach to secure new business for the Agrobank network.

Responsibilities

• To achieve the branch’s micro finance business target as approved by the management.
• Sales outreach for new business.
• Receive potential clients and conduct an initial assessment.
• Schedule interviews at clients’ place of business and residence to gather necessary information to complete application.
• Appraise the financing application and complete all the required forms associated with the financing appraisal (financing application, reference forms, credit analysis checklist, etc.).
• Upon approval, realize the financing by completing all the required documentation and opening the account on the computer system.
• Monitoring and follow-up accounts especially accounts in arrears trend by weekly/daily visit collection.
• Execute R&R on identified account.
• Submit weekly arrears/ salesreport to Branch Manager and Head Microfinance Regional Unit.
• In addition, sales the BANCA product by cross selling activity
