Job summary

Agrobank, a government-owned bank under the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MFI), seeks a seasoned leader to drive frontline deposit growth across Malaysia's Mass Market, Religious Institutions, and Youth segments. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will grow deposit inflows from existing and new customers while supporting branches in acquisition.

You will lead HQ-led deposit initiatives, provide sales leadership, market intelligence, and acquisition support to regions and branches, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Proven track record in growing deposits across consumer segments.
• Experience acquiring deposits from mass market, religious institutions and youth.
• Strong ability to lead sales initiatives and align with HQ strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drive new deposit inflows through proactive acquisition of large-scale and strategic deposit opportunities.
• Support growth of low-cost deposits across targeted segments to strengthen funding position.
• Act as the primary relationship builder and door opener to new clients, institutions, and key stakeholders.
• Strengthen presence within communities through engagement with religious institutions, youth organisations, and public sector bodies.
• Support financial inclusion and community-based initiatives by facilitating access to banking solutions across identified segments.
• Execute HQ-led deposit solicitation and business development initiatives in alignment with overall deposit strategy.
• Provide sales leadership, market intelligence, and acquisition support to regions and branches to improve conversion and execution effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Strategic Development and Support & Services to enhance sales approaches, analytics, and campaign effectiveness.

Drives and leads frontline deposit growth from existing and new customers by acquiring deposit from the Consumer Quadrant, focusing on the Mass Market, Religious Institutions, and Youth segments, while supporting branches in customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities

Drive new deposit inflows through proactive acquisition of large-scale and strategic deposit opportunities

Support growth of low-cost and stable deposits across targeted customer segments to strengthen the Bank's funding position

Act as the primary relationship builder and door opener to new clients, institutions, and key stakeholders

Strengthen the Bank's presence and reputation within communities through engagement with religious institutions, youth-related organisations, and public sector bodies

Support financial inclusion and community-based initiatives by facilitating access to banking solutions across identified segments
