Job summary

Swarovski Global Business Services Asia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a SAP Platform Engineer & AI Developer to design and build SAP applications using ABAP (RAP/OO), CDS views, SAP BTP and Fiori/UI5, while embedding AI capabilities into SAP processes.

You will explore generative AI, predictive models, and automation, and ensure clean-core development while working with S/4HANA, BTP extensibility, APIs, and integration concepts in a collaborative environment. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing enterprise SAP applications using ABAP, BTP, CDS Views, RAP, and Fiori/UI5.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP extension frameworks, cloud services and APIs.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, ML, or intelligent automation within SAP ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build SAP applications and extensions using ABAP (RAP/OO), CDS views, BTP, and Fiori/UI5.
• Embed AI capabilities into SAP processes and prototype AI-driven use cases.
• Ensure secure, compliant development aligned with Swarovski standards.
• Apply deep knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP BTP to design modern solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners on platform topics and SLA monitoring.

About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design and build custom SAP applications and extensions using ABAP (incl. RAP/OO), CDS views, SAP BTP, and Fiori/UI5.
• Embed AI capabilities (e.g., SAP AI Core, Joule, generative AI, predictive models) into SAP processes and applications.
• Prototype AI-driven use cases and apply AI-assisted development to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Ensure clean-core, secure, and compliant development in line with Swarovski standards.
• Apply deep technical understanding of S/4HANA and SAP BTP (extensibility, services, side-by-side apps) to design and run modern solutions.
• Leverage cloud and platform capabilities; understand integration options, though end-to-end integration is owned by a dedicated team.
• Continuously evaluate emerging SAP, BTP, and AI technologies and drive automation.

Partner Governance (secondary):

• Coordinate with external managed service partners on platform topics and support SLA monitoring where relevant.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Proven experience developing enterprise applications using SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, CDS Views, RAP, and Fiori/UI5
• Strong technical understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, including extension frameworks, cloud services, APIs, and integration concepts
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or intelligent automation solutions, preferably within SAP ecosystems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment
