Job summary

Swarovski is seeking a SAP Full-Stack Developer (ABAP/BTP/AI) to design and extend SAP applications using ABAP, CDS views, and SAP Fiori/UI5 within a modern SAP BTP stack. You will contribute to AI-driven automation, maintain high code quality, and collaborate across data and AI teams in a hybrid work setup.

The role emphasizes clean-core principles, secure development, and continuous improvement through Agile and CI/CD practices, with opportunities to explore innovative SAP and AI technologies.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on SAP development with ABAP, CDS Views and Fiori/UI5.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or machine learning technologies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SAP integrations and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP applications and extensions using ABAP, CDS, Fiori/UI5.
• Ensure clean-core, code quality, security, and maintainability per Swarovski standards.
• Collaborate with data and AI teams to operationalize AI models.
• Integrate SAP solutions with SAP Integration Suite/CPI where needed.
• Apply Agile delivery and CI/CD to development work and support testing.

About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• SAP Development: Design and develop custom SAP applications and extensions using ABAP (incl. RAP/OO), CDS views, SAP BTP, and Fiori/UI5.
• Ensure clean-core principles, code quality, security, and maintainability in line with Swarovski development standards.
• Understand integration capabilities and configurations (e.g., SAP Integration Suite/CPI); build interfaces only occasionally, as end-to-end integration is owned by a dedicated team.
• AI & Intelligent Automation: Embed AI capabilities (e.g., SAP AI Core, Joule, generative AI, predictive models) into SAP processes and applications.
• Identify and prototype AI-driven use cases to automate manual tasks and augment business decision-making.
• Collaborate with data and AI teams to operationalize models and ensure responsible, compliant AI usage.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Apply agile delivery and CI/CD to development work.
• Support testing procedures
• Continuously evaluate emerging SAP and AI technologies to improve solutions.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP development experience with ABAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP Exposure to AI, automation, or machine learning technologies, with a keen interest in building intelligent business applications
• Strong understanding of SAP integrations, APIs, and modern software development practices including Agile and CI/CD
• Self-driven problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
