Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced SAP HR Consultant with strong SAP HR Payroll expertise to support payroll processing, system maintenance and enhancements. The role requires collaboration with HR, payroll and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations at KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.

You will troubleshoot payroll issues, perform testing, document changes, and support upgrades while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP HR Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HR Payroll to support payroll-related operations, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes while providing functional support to business users and resolving system-related issues.

Key responsibilities

Provide functional support for SAP HR Payroll, including payroll processing, configuration, and system maintenance.

Support payroll-related activities to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.

Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP HR Payroll issues reported by business users.

Perform system testing, validation, and support for payroll-related changes and enhancements.

Work closely with HR, payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement appropriate solutions.

Investigate payroll discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and consistency across relevant SAP HR modules.

Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including system changes, test scenarios, and issue resolution records.

Support system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and other payroll-related initiatives where required.

Ensure payroll processes comply with established company policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.

Provide user guidance and technical-functional assistance to ensure smooth payroll operations.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as an SAP HR Consultant, SAP HCM Consultant, or in a similar SAP HR functional role.

Strong hands‑on experience in SAP HR Payroll is essential.

Good understanding of payroll processes, payroll configuration, and payroll troubleshooting.

Experience in SAP HCM modules and integration with other HR-related modules is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Must be available to work on‑site at KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, as required.
