Job summary
San Soon Seng Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst (SAP) to join our ICT team in Selangor. You will support, maintain and optimise our SAP ERP systems to help our food manufacturing and distribution operations run smoothly.
You will translate business needs into SAP configurations, perform testing, and collaborate with stakeholders and SAP vendors. Relevant certifications and ABAP/BO skills are a plus.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years as an SAP Application Analyst or similar SAP support role.
- Strong SAP modules knowledge: MM, SD, PP or FI.
- Hands-on SAP configuration, customisation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain or distribution processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with independent work capability.
- Clear communication to non-technical users.
- Experience with SAP testing tools/methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP security and user access management.
- SAP certifications are highly desirable.
- ABAP reporting or BO analytics experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain SAP systems across modules for optimal performance.
- Translate business requirements into SAP configurations and customisations.
- Perform functional, integration and UAT testing to ensure quality.
- Configure SAP modules relevant to food manufacturing and distribution.
- Provide user support and document issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SAP vendors to resolve issues.
- Develop system documentation, guides and workflows.
- Assist in system upgrades, patches and enhancements with minimal disruption.
- Monitor performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Assist in training users on SAP functionalities and best practices.
