Job summary

Talent in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Analyst to join a large-scale Digital Projects team within a leading higher education institution. You will own end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring quality and business outcomes.

In an Agile environment, you will work with Developers, Analysts, Product Owners and Project Managers to design test strategies, execute tests, manage defects, and drive reliable releases across the Salesforce

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as Salesforce QA Analyst or similar.
• Hands-on testing Salesforce CRM implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Experience with STLC in Agile environments.
• Ability to design test strategies, plans, and cases for Salesforce projects.
• Familiarity with testing tools Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases across Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to create test plans, strategies, and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing across Salesforce implementations and releases.
• Validate integrations with external systems, APIs, data migration, and third-party interfaces.
• Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects; collaborate with developers to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Coordinate testing across environments and release cycles; provide regular updates on progress and deployment readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Salesforce QA processes and regression suites.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce QA Analyst to join a large-scale Digital Projects team within a leading higher education institution. Supporting the delivery of enterprise Salesforce initiatives, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality outcomes through comprehensive testing of Salesforce applications, enhancements, integrations, and business processes.

Working closely with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers in an Agile delivery environment, you will own end-to-end testing activities across the Salesforce platform, ensuring new functionality, configurations, workflows, and integrations meet business requirements and quality standards. You will also play a key role in strengthening Salesforce testing practices and supporting reliable releases across the digital delivery portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, Flows, validation rules, and system configurations.
• Analyse business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and scripts aligned with Salesforce project objectives.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and releases.
• Validate Salesforce integrations with external enterprise systems, APIs, data migration processes, and third‑party applications, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and seamless functionality.
• Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects through to resolution, collaborating with Salesforce Developers and Administrators to investigate issues, validate fixes, and minimise delivery risks.
• Coordinate testing activities across Salesforce environments and release cycles, providing regular updates on test execution, defect status, quality metrics, and deployment readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Salesforce QA processes, test documentation, regression test suites, and testing standards within an Agile delivery environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven commercial experience as a Salesforce QA Analyst, Salesforce Test Analyst, or QA Engineer, with hands‑on experience testing Salesforce CRM implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud, including standard and custom objects, Salesforce Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and role‑based security.
• Demonstrated experience across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, defect management, and UAT within Agile delivery environments.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports for Salesforce applications, with strong attention to detail and quality assurance standards.
• Hands‑on experience with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, data migration, and system interfaces, with knowledge of tools such as Postman and SOQL highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Exposure to Salesforce test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar frameworks will be advantageous.
• Experience working within Salesforce release management processes, including sandbox testing, deployment validation, and regression testing, is highly desirable.
• Malaysian Citizen or holder of a valid Malaysian Residence Pass Talent (RP‑T). Salesforce certifications, ISTQB Foundation certification, or experience within higher education or large enterprise environments will be advantageous.
