The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds. This role requires deep hands‑on development expertise, strong platform knowledge, and the ability to work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to implement scalable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
- Build and enhance functionality across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Develop robust business logic, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes
- Customize standard Salesforce features including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and page layouts
Integration & Data
- Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms
- Support data migration, data model design, and data quality initiatives
- Optimize performance and ensure platform limits and best practices are followed
Technical Leadership
- Collaborate with Solution Architects on technical design and implementation approach
- Review code and enforce Salesforce development best practices
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
- Estimate effort, support technical planning, and contribute to solution design
DevOps & Quality
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and code quality standards
- Support testing activities, including unit testing and deployment validation
- Work closely with business analysts, QA, and product owners in Agile delivery teams
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Support production deployments and resolve issues efficiently
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 6–10 years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Apex, SOQL/SOSL
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura (nice to have)
- Salesforce declarative features (Flows, Security, Sharing)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, limits, and governor constraints
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience with multi‑cloud Salesforce solutions
- Exposure to CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Industry Clouds
- Experience working in consulting or system integrator environments
