Job summary

Bestari Basa Sdn Bhd is seeking a customer-focused sales associate in Shah Alam to assist customers with cat-related merchandise and provide product information.

You will keep the sales floor tidy, handle transactions, manage stock, and respond to inquiries while aiming to meet sales targets in a friendly team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and POS systems.
• A genuine passion for cats and pet products is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products and provide information about our cat-related merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and stockroom.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Manage inventory levels, including receiving new stock and restocking shelves.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and promoting store promotions.
• Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
