Job summary

The Precious Seed Management Sdn. Bhd. (Just Pets Megastore) in Petaling is seeking a capable retail supervisor to lead the team, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will oversee daily operations, handle cashiering and inventory, ensure store standards, and care for animals. Requires 2 years retail experience, strong leadership, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; weekend work is required. Join a busy pet store with growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory/team leader role.
• Strong sales, leadership and customer service skills.
• Experience with cashiering, POS and inventory management.
• Able to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Comfortable working with cats, dogs and other animals.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the retail team to achieve daily, monthly and store sales targets.
• Actively engage customers and promote, upsell and cross-sell products.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, discipline and daily task completion.
• Handle cashiering, POS transactions, cash closing and basic reconciliation.
• Manage inventory, stock receiving, ordering and stock accuracy.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced and replenished.
• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, safety and overall store standards.
• Monitor the health, cleanliness and welfare of animals in the retail area.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures.
• Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
• Ensure staff follow company SOPs, policies and animal welfare guidelines.
