POWERCAM (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to drive business in Malaysia from its Johor Bahru base. The role is predominantly technical sales with service coordination, engaging industrial customers and representing international manufacturers of engineered equipment.

You will visit customers, understand technical and commercial needs, promote equipment, and manage the sales pipeline across projects, spare parts and aftersales opportunities.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics or another relevant Engineering/Technical discipline.
• Preferably 1–5 years of technical sales, industrial sales, application/project engineering or other customer-facing engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial equipment, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, process/mechanical equipment or Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts in Malaysia.
• Visit industrial customers, engineering companies, contractors and end users to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Promote assigned engineered equipment and build relationships with Engineering, Maintenance, Projects and Procurement teams.
• Identify new projects, aftermarket, spare parts, service and equipment replacement opportunities.
• Follow up technical and commercial proposals with customers and coordinate closely with our international Principals.
• Conduct product presentations and support technical/commercial discussions.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, sales forecasts and regular opportunity updates.
• Follow opportunities from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation and order.
• Coordinate site visits, commissioning and technical support activities.
• Support Principal engineers/supervisors during customer site activities and follow up outstanding technical matters.

Build your career in technical sales. PowerCam (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a driven Sales Engineer to develop our business in Malaysia. This is primarily a technical sales and service coordination role (approximately 90% sales), representing international manufacturers of engineered equipment to industrial customers.

Industry exposure: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power & Utilities, Green Energy and other process industries. The position is based in Johor Bahru, with travel to customers and project sites throughout Malaysia.

What You Will Do

Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts in Malaysia.

Visit industrial customers, engineering companies, contractors and end users to understand technical and commercial requirements.

Technical & Service Coordination

This is not primarily a hands-on service position. For installation, commissioning and technical service activities, you will coordinate between the customer, PowerCam and our Principal's technical/service supervisor.

Coordinate site visits, commissioning and technical support activities.

Support Principal engineers/supervisors during customer site activities and follow up outstanding technical matters.

Identify opportunities for spare parts, service and equipment upgrades.

Who We Are Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics or another relevant Engineering/Technical discipline.

Preferably 1-5 years of technical sales, industrial sales, application/project engineering or other customer-facing engineering experience.

Experience with industrial equipment, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, process/mechanical equipment or Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries is an advantage.

Fresh engineering graduates with strong communication skills, initiative and genuine interest in technical sales are welcome to apply.

Commercially driven, self-motivated and disciplined in customer follow-up.

Good written and spoken English; willing to travel within Malaysia.

Valid driving licence and own car required for customer visits.

Based in or willing to be based in Johor Bahru.

RM4,000 - RM6,000 monthly salary, depending on experience, plus attractive sales commission.
