Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer for our client in Puchong, Malaysia. The role focuses on selling chemical dosing and transfer equipment, identifying new business in Chemical & Petrochemical markets, and maintaining customer relationships.

Travel is required to service key accounts and develop opportunities. The candidate should have a degree in Engineering and at least 5 years in technical sales, with Mandarin and English proficiency and the ability to present

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or business development.
• Experience in selling to Oil & Gas, Power & Energy is advantageous.

About the Company:

An establishedengineering firmspecializes in precision chemical dosing pumps, custom water treatment systems, and process instrumentation for municipal, industrial, and power generation applications.

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Sales Engineer to join our client's team in Puchong, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in business development and sales, combining with strong customer service skills to drive business growth and build lasting relationships.

• Location: Puchong, Malaysia
• Work Mode: Work from Office
• Role: Sales Engineer
• Report to: Sales Manager – Power, Oil & Gas
• Working hour:Mon - Fri(8.30am-5.30pm)

Key Responsilities

• Selling chemical dosing/transfer equipment/systems
• Identify sales opportunities & potential customers in Chemical & Petrochemical markets.
• Maintaining & creating new customer base
• Develop close customer relations to identify & manage key customers
• Coordinate & prepare commercial and technical proposal by studying plans and related customer documents, consulting with engineers and technical personnel
• Provide technical support and advice to customers
• Collect data to develop competitor's positioning and performance of their competitive products
• Ability to create and deliver presentations to clearly communicate the advantages of our products
• Responsible for providing timely reports
• Coordinate with service teams to provide customer support and service quality is maintained

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related technical sales or engineering. Must have experience in doing sales proposal.
• Sales experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Energy industry is an advantage
• Excellent communication in both Mandarin & English,and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Possess own car and willing to travel

Remunerations:

• Salary up to RM 7,000.00 + 13th month salary
